our process

6 Easy steps to becoming a member.

Step 1

Select a payment package (billed either monthly or annually).

Step 2

Email Lynette at admin@lppractitioners.co.za to request more information, or to request the sign up documents, Q&A and she will send you an information set, along with the application for membership forms.

Step 3

After submitting your application paperwork fully, you will receive the appropriate billing invoice – please pay that and send your proof of payment back to Lynette at the same email address.

Step 4

The administrator will set your membership page up on the www.lppractitioners.co.za (also accessible at: www.lppsa.net ) web Site

And depending on the billing model you’ve chosen, you will be eligible for your LPP Member Certificate & LPP Credibility card, as per the information set you will have received.

Step 5

After becoming an LPP member, you will be eligible for the 1st complimentary Basic Lightning Protection course module – Free of Charge, and you are encouraged to do at least the 1st eight modules, before you will know ( verifiably ) enough to start working in the LP Industry.

INCLUDES

    • You will get your own free membership page in LPP’s online database. Based on the information you submitted during application (you can amend this info later).
    • You will be listed on LPP’s searchable member database. The database is presented as an interactive SA map, where different search criteria can be used to find you/your company, by region.
    • When LPP does Lightning Protection Awareness campaigns in any of its many forms, to insurers, engineers, lodge owners, thatch builders or commercial property developers etc. you will have the opportunity to be a participant, supporter or even speaker at these events, if well enough versed and comfortable to do public speaking. We have used several directors and respected LPP professionals, part of, and associated with LPP or its members in the past, with great success at these events.
    • LPP Awareness events can be organised as an association effort, or on individual members’ request, to create local exposure for LPP as well as for your own company, or for LPP as an association. Some costs can and may be carried by LPP, and some will be funded by entry fees to these events, and some of the costs may have to be funded by members themselves, but cost-effective and targeted events work, and have been proven to boost the industry players and the association every single time we have held these events – it will work for you as well! How better to showcase what the benefits of proper Lightning Protection Methods can provide to a host of known and unknown possible clients in your area at a very cost-effective Lightning event, open for Insurers and assessors in your direct area, or an event open for lodge owners, wedding venue owners, or holiday resort owners specifically – with your company hosting the event, and you have control over who is invited.
